Talon Lake Campground and Marina is a peaceful family campground, situated on the scenic historical Mattawa  River. It is  a perfect place for canoe tripping, fishing, and relaxing and listening to the call of the loon. Fishermen will be sure to find this quiet lake excellent for lake trout, pickerel, pike, bass and muskellunge. We sell fishing licenses in the camp store/office, some tackle, worms and ice.

We have tent and trailer sites. We have 25 seasonal sites, which are almost always full, and 12 transient sites, 6 with electricity and water, 6 without services. We have a scenic area for tents or tent trailers with no hookups. We have a pull-through area to accommodate motor homes or fifth wheels, and they have 20 amp electricity and water at each site.

We have a dump station in a separate part of the campground and also a central washroom with flush toilets and hot showers.

Come and relax in our outdoor pool, which is usually open in July and August. Or, you could rent a canoe or a boat and motor (depending on the time of day), and enjoy the beautiful scenery on Talon Lake. A beautiful spot to enjoy is the Talon Chutes Portage. Take a hike or just enjoy the view from the top. Another spot to enjoy on Talon Lake is Grasswell Point, pull up your boat and enjoy the sandy point. Most days you will be joined by many cottagers and campers enjoying the same thing.
